New year. New thoughts. New Dreams. New goals. Well, not really. Yes, a new year, but the same goals and the same dreams and pretty much the same thoughts with perhaps a new perspective and cheerful disposition as we enter the new year.
There is a quote by Lewis Carroll that hangs on my wall with a photo of my kids at the beach. It says, “I’d give all the wealth the years have piled, the slow result of lifes decay, to be once more a little child, for one bright summer day. ” Beautiful in its simplicity. The very perspective and disposition I would like to carry with me on the 2009 journey. Because really, what else matters besides my family and the smiles on our faces?
Happy New Year. From our family to yours.
